Your heart knows the way. Run that direction.
-Rumi
I’m a mama, nature lover, city girl (with some serious wanderlust), and devotee of this practice called yoga. For the last 10 years I’ve been teaching yoga, but came to it as a overworked NYC television reporter who needed to slow down and tune in (I didn’t know that then.) I’ve fallen in love with the power of this practice, and don’t know what I would do without it. You see, yoga has a funny way of bringing up all that we need, pushing us towards the best version of ourselves and making us stronger, more balanced, and much happier along the way. I am a firm believer that yoga is for everyone, and know that this powerful practice can transform us in every way.
Come along with me on a weekly journey to create more space, strength and serenity, and tap into the most powerful being that is YOU.

All that said, my most powerful teaching tool has always been the ability to tap into a space of intuition and flow, which has been accessed by my own personal yoga practice. My goal is always to help others connect to their own innate wisdom and build more awareness and space along the way .
Yoga is for everyone! I truly believe that. I take a fun, balanced and inclusive approach in my classes, and always encourage students to make their practice their own. I believe you should listen to your body— it is your greatest teacher.
My ultimate goal is always to help people create more space (in their bodies and minds) so they can access more freedom and a deeper connection with themselves. I believe yoga is not really about all the poses, but rather about our approach to them (and what we learn about ourselves in that!)
That said, I do teach alignment based, breath centered classes (strong foundations are everything), and always encourage mindful movement, body awareness, and leaning into challenge (both on and off the mat.) I believe yoga is a spiritual practice, but take a fun, modern, accessible approach to it (that often includes a upbeat flow and inspiring playlist!)
Finally, I believe every BODY can (and should!) do yoga. Deeper connection to our bodies, breathe, and, ultimately, our true selves is always the goal.
